Why can't regular wart removal products be used on genital warts?

i have genital warts and have had them treated by a doctor but what the doctor used (a freezing thing) look like the same thing you could find in the store for regular wart removal. So the genital warts have come back and i was wonder if i could just use the one from the store instead of having to go back to the doctor?

Genital warts are a different type of virus than warts you find on other parts of your body. They can also be extremely difficult to get rid of. The problem with trying wart removal products (that were meant to be used on other types of warts) is that the liquid nitrogen your doctor uses is MUCH stronger than the stuff made by Dr. Scholls (so if the doctor’s liquid nitrogen didn’t work then Dr. Scholls won’t work either).
