Where are the places it is possible to get genital warts?

I was just diagnosed with genital warts and I am afraid I could get it on other areas of my body such as back of my hands and wrist, buttocks, and arms. Every time I get a bug bite, I am afraid it is something more than it is. Could someone give me the correct information on this? What do they look like and/or feel like when they first start forming?

HPV strains have their "favorite" place to life, and the genital warts strains like to live on the genitals. It’s *possible* they can appear other places, but very unlikely that would happen. Just relax. The warts can be removed, and most often they never return. Good luck.

Genital warts can be spread orally, so if your partner wants to have oral sex with you, it is important that they use some sort of latex protection. If you are female, wear a dental dam if you are receiving oral, if you are a male, wear a condom. If a person receives genital warts orally, they can grown on the vocal chords damaging them to give a hoarse voice. Not very glamorous.
As for arms and legs, other body areas, I wouldn’t be too worried about that.
well, its in the name. these warts appear along the front bikini line, and the inside of the legs near the genitalia. they do not appear all over your body. im not sure what they feel like. they probably hurt. and they look like little pimples/warts in your pubic area.
Genital warts can only be contracted on the genitals, hence the name. But like other warts the can be transfered by touch to other parts of the body, but they no longer are genital warts and are just warts. If you’ve been diagnosed with genital warts, you should get them removed as soon as possible to hinder and further complications.
Genital warts will be on your genitals and around. Usually they itch and irritate easily and can sometimes be painful. They are contagious so when you have an outbreak you shouldn’t have sexual intercourse. Genital warts aren’t exactly pretty. They can look like sores, warts, red bumps, etc. I wouldn’t worry about them getting on other places. If you have any other questions you should ask a doctor.
you get genital warts on the genital area, and sometimes around the anus, other warts arent in the same group, hpv virus is caught through sex, any thing on your fingers are totally different group. boost your immune system, it’ll help them dissapear

you can get genital warts ONLY in genital area! because genital warts are called genital warts because those appear only in genital area!!
and if you have them – you MUST get rid of them as soon as it is possible because genital warts are very contagious!!

HPV is the virus that causes genital warts. People can be infected with HPV and never show any symptoms. Others will develop genital warts. Get up one hour early every morning & take a BRISK 30 minute walk – then – do the same thing again in the evening after dinner. Make sure you eat a good, balanced breakfast daily. You get your energy for the day from your breakfast meal. Get 8 hours sleep each night. Flip your mattress over so it will level out to give you a good night’s rest. Slack off too much coffee & tea)
