After that they use some liquid nitrogen to freeze the wart, then cut it off. They'll put a bandaid on the area and that's it. You should be able to go to gym class no problem. She will use a swab to (slightly hard) press the swab (which is dipped in). It stings a little, and will not fall off right away.
