You’re going to think I’m a total redneck for this suggestion, but cover it with a piece of duct tape. I’m not sure if it’s something in the adhesive or what, but it kills the wart so you can just file it off. It’ll take some time, but it’s totally safe and painless. A piece of gauze saturated in apple cider vinegar and taped over it will do the same thing a bit faster, but it also stings much more.
They have over the counter things i’m sure is safe for the both of you. If you want call your doctor or even the ER department at your hospital.
I would definitly avoid the topical treatments available over the counter. They usually contain salicylic acid in either a dropper form, a paste that goes under a bandaid, or similar things. The salicylate is similar to taking aspirin in your third trimester, even though it’s just topical there is a chance you can absorb it into your bloodstream.
The topical "freeze-off" variety available over the counter, kind of like Liquid Nitrogen, would probably be safer, but I would still check with your doctor before using it.
All the best!
