What is the maximum amount of time it takes for symptoms of herpes to show.?
And what are the earliest symptoms besides blistering or warts.
I’m trying to help a friend figure out whether or not his wife cheated on him.
You guys brought up some good issues. He was a virgin before he met her, they’ve only been married almost a year. She has been around. He knew that before he married her so I respect his choice in that. He is in job training out of state right now and confided in a family member that asked for my help because she use to be my roomate. I am not on very good terms with her right now though. I didn’t think the personal aspects of it mattered because its just a general question.

Unless she has a test for the problem you’ll never know. If your friend has them and his wife tested negative then maybe he cheated. Might I suggest that you don’t get involved and let him do his own dirty work. If he has them and his wife didn’t cheat don’t you think she’s going to accuse you two of something and you giving it to him.
Some people with herpes rarely or never display symptoms. You need to be properly tested by a doctor.
It can be years before symptoms show up. Some people are infected and never have symptoms. Before your friend accuses his wife of cheating he should get checked himself, he may have been the one who infected her.
