I have two warts on the bottom of my left foot they have been here for a couple months and are really annoying. I bought these sticky band aid things but they suck and dont work. Any other things such as creams or something else that I can buy at a local store before going to a doctor?
Thanks

well i don’t know about treatments in the store. I’ve tried some of them, but they just didn’t work. I went to the clinic to get liquid nitrogen treatment to burn them out, but that hurt and didn’t even get rid of them.
I’ve gone through a few outbreaks of warts in my life. I used to have like 6 on my foot, and one thing that worked more easily and painlessly than anything else was duck tape ! yes that’s right. Buy a roll, and get into the habit of sticking it on. If it falls off just stick some more on. After showers peel away the dead skin around the wart, and apply more duct tape. It’s not an over night cure. Sometimes it takes months. but if you do it this way, and just stick it on and leave it, before long they will be gone for sure. Good luck !
I used duct tape and an emery board for a couple of days to remove the dead skin, but once I had the wart exposed I treated it with Wartner, which is the original OTC treatment. I thought it worked excellently, and is basically the same thing as what the doctor does. After freezing it, I covered the wart with a bandage.
I know that Dr. Scholls also has treatments for plantar warts, which is what you have, I believe. I’m not sure how well they work, but they could be worth looking into.
Both products should be available at your local Walmart or pharmacy.
