wart treatment with over the counter medicine?

does over the counter medicines work for plantar warts? I have read online that otc medicines are not recommended but would rather not go to a doctor. Does anyone have any experience getting rid of them with otc medicine? Any experience with treatment administered by doctor? Any luck with the duct tape method, and how long did it take to work? Thanks. everyone who answers helpfully gets a thumbs up point, and then 10 points to best answer!

HPV is the virus that causes warts. And HPV virus has many strains. In your case you have HPV virus strain number 2. People can be infected with HPV and never show any symptoms. one of my friends had told me that if you put the wart in a tree stump after it had rained it will take it away.
Use the duct tape method. It really works. I actually found that Sumo tape works faster than duct tape. Just type "remove warts with duct tape" into any search engine.
