Should I be getting pains from my wart treatment?
I have these two warts, one big which is on my middle finger, and one small on my thumb. I have had them for awhile and decided to something about them. My mum bought this "wart-off" stuff which is said to work. I have used it for less then a week and my warts really really hurt. The skin around has made a small circle going around the wart and the area is very tender. I’m not sure if it is supposed to be hurting. I’m worried since it is an acid type thing that it is causing damage on my skin or something. Please tell me especially if you have had experience with this treatment.

It is normal but the best way to get them treated is at a doctors office. Those home treatments seldom work and you run the risk of causing the virus to become reactivated and spread, especially with all that open skin. I would see a doc about it.
This is normal because you now have open, raw skin and when the air gets on it, it hurts. You might consider covering the area with a bandaid to decrease the discomfort. Wart treatment often needs weeks of treatment but you can take time out intermittently to allow the surrounding skin to heal before starting treatment again on the core. Try to only put a little drop right in the center of the wart and not get any on the surrounding sking. Also, if it hurts too much, tylenol will decrease the discomfort – take some.
i think you are allergic to that drug. try to look at the drug manual/kit.
stop using it until the redness has gone.
