This may sound like a dumb question, but I read on here that all warts are caused by HPV. I have a wart on my hand. Is it a HPV wart?

btw, I’m a virgin, but I’ve heard that people can contract warts by holding hands…
Also, are there two types of warts or something? HPV warts, and regular warts?

I have a wart on the bottom of my foot that has been hurting for a few months now. So, my mother and I decided to try the at-home wart treatment that she bought at the store.
I’ve had warts removed on the bottom of my feet before (though that was at the doctor’s office), and I remember that it hurt. A LOT.
So, my question is, do they hurt?

yep, got genital warts.just one, using aldara and it is great! I am going to wait 18 months and then figure I should go on living my life. However, I don’t know how I will go about telling someone I just met, like, and want to have sex with. I hate knowing this is the only thing that will make women not want anything to do with me eventhough tons of women have hpv. Both me and my ex had it and I though we would get married. Now, that’s not the case and I feel like I can never get on with dating or a relationship again. It really does make me feel tainted or ashamed. Any help, please!

I have had this wart on my finger for about a year. It’s on my right hand, in the place where your finger bends. It doesn’t hurt but it’s embarresin! Help please.

I don’t know what to make of these symptoms, they’re all in the groin area. i plan on seeing a health professional soon but in the meantime:

I developed a lump about three weeks ago, right under the opening to my vagina, it is painless inless stretched, whiteish in color. its not like a wart or a bump, but a mishapen slightly raised area. i dont know if this is just normal, (im fifteen and might still be changing down there?). it does not look like herpes or genital warts in the least, and it doesnt burn hurt or itch.
I also have a weird discharge, its yellow and smells bad…….
i have no other symptoms, no pain or anything.
have any of you ever had symtoms of anything like this? possibly two seperate things?

and yes im sexually active

its on the 4th finger so it always rubs against the middle finger and it bugs me. any ideas?

Please could someone reply, he has had them for a few months now, and they are starting to get in the way of his relationship and cause him a bit of pain.

Last time i had sexual intercourse and it was unprotected was about June of 2006.

7 months or more later i went it to get tested for HIV through blood and STD through Urine. And they all came out negative.

Just last night i noticed a very small raising of skin in my pubic area just one. Is this genital warts because i already had gone to get tested for HIV and STD’s and they both came out negative.

its on my knuckle and the blister under the wart is about the size of a dime.
i called my doctor and she said she doesn’t advise popping it but i’ve been looking online and people say you should or it will keep getting bigger.

what should i do!?
note: it’s extremely painful!

i think i have a plantar wart on the bottom of my foot. its on the side of my heel and it throbs all the time and i’ve had it for almost 8 months now.
im going to the doctor to get it removed (laser,freezing,cuttting it off)
has anyone gotten any of these treatments? and how bad is it on a scale of 1-10

i have a pretty good pain tolerance, for example i broke my foot in 8th grade and didn’t cry until i had to walk home on it. and i dont cry after shots.
but for some reaosn i’m pretty nervous about the wart removal
