Hey. when i was younger i had a wart on my foot. this is about age 10. now 18 I have several warts on my fingertips. i have tried over the counter remedies and also freezing from the doctor numerous times. I dont want to get that done again because it is amazingly painfull. my question is: what other ways are there? ( no over the counter, duct tape or freezing please) Also, what causes warts? I heard it was the HPV virus but i thought HPV was genital warts. Can I contract the warts on my hand to other parts of my body (including genitals) while washing? if so are they still considered common warts? and if this is the HPV virus…should i still consider getting the HPV shot or is that pointless?

How long does it take for a wart to appear if you’ve gotten HPV, or just regular genital warts?

every so often my wart will brush against my face when i touch my hair or scratch an itch or whatever

I think I have a tiny flat wart on the palm of my hand and I’m soon going to see the GP that I registered with. She said she made an appointment for me with the doctor who does minor surgeries, including cryosurgery. My question is, can I get the cryo treatment (or any other treatment) for my wart free of charge in the UK?

I have found many home remedies to remove a wart, and I have tried a ton of them and of course they all have failed. The latest one I tried was I put duct tape on my toe for 9 days and when you take it off your supposed to use an emery board and it all comes off. Well it didn’t work, and my toe smells really bad. I have no idea how to get rid of the smell. I have washed my toe several times today and it still stinks….please help me!

no my toe is a normal color. When your in water your hands and feet kind of shribble up, well thats the way my toe looks.

im going mad i really want to use wart remover to get rid of the dark skin above my upper lip: no hair there…. i havent done it but would it work to make the skin match my face? i havent even got a wart there.
