I got a big wart on my thumb frozen off. In a few hours a blister developed. Its like a huge bubble with fluid around the wart. The next day the blister or wart didn’t go away. In fact, the blister got bigger. It also kinda hurts… When will the blister go away? When will the wart go away?

What causes warts?

i had a large one for a few years and got it frozen by a doctor and now its gone, but now i’ve been getting really small ones in weird places and they are pissing me off. Anyone know why this is and why they form? Some formed from pimples and others are so small they’re hardly noticable. I’m just tired of getting them.

the different symptoms. how can you tell the different symptoms.
i kno a yeast infection is itchy, and irrtation.
and warts is itchy irritating and white spots.
but i seem to think a yeast infection has a little of white spots also. which makes it llok like a yeast infection.

Like, is there a way to get rid of it without going through something painful such as: freezing it off, cutting it off, burning it off.

I have one on my toe, and everyday it gets bigger and bigger!

I just got one done a few months ago along with a chlamydia and ghonnorea test. Everything came back negative but my BF tested positive for genital warts.

I want to get a wart on my penis removed with minimal scarring. The doctor I went to today wanted to put acid on it, but I’ve heard of laser treatment. This doctor says he doesn’t use laser, because it’s too expensive. Money is no object to me when it comes to trying not to have a scarred penis… So I want a second opinion. I also know they can freeze a wart off, but that also leaves a scar. What is the best method? And is there anything a plasic surgeon can do to minimize the scar if I do get one? Thank you.

I have a HUGE blister thats about two inches long around the wart, it was throbbing all day, especially after walking around work for 7 hours. I’m not sure if this swolleness is what is supposed to happen, if so how do I treat it?

I’ve heard from a friend that the strain of HPV which causes GW does not cause Cervical Cancer. Up until now, I’ve been pretty sure it does, after having done research on it for 2 years and 9 months, but I just wanted to be 100% sure of myself. The question is, does that same exact strain cause Cervical Cancer, or doesn’t it?

Also, what do you tell a guy who’s wanted to be a father/family man since the early age of 5, who has HPV, has been worried about the relevant risk of Cervical Cancer, and has stopped showing symptoms of Genital Warts for 6 months, after spending 2 years and 3 months with the symptoms?
Thank you for the answers! Although really, I do feel as puzzled as I did when I didn’t have those answers. I’m sorry, I know you’re giving it your best! Really though, with that (20% to) 50% in there, it feels more like a coin toss. On the plus side, it also means there’s a possibility I had an 80%-50% chance of not contracting it in addition to the strain with GW.

Anyway, if I did have the strain which causes Cervical Cancer co-existing with the strain which causes GW (which, I haven’t shown any symptoms of GW in these last 6 months!), what are my hypothetical wife’s chances of catching Cervical Cancer during unprotected intercourse, for the purpose of procreation?
Thank you for the link! I’ve been tired of hearing these clashing theories without proof or explanation — doctors saying "it doesn’t go away…", doctors saying "it does go away!", and nobody having anything to back that up. So according to that site, the OLD theory is that HPV is with me for life. The new one, since 2004, is that HPV does infact go away, and that it’s been tested rigorously and effectively? I’m almost convinced that I can accept that as actual fact, which is a nice change from what I’m used to! You’ve all been great, thank you so much! I think I can finally close this, unless someone else has anything to add? I’ll leave it open just in case!

There is a rather large wart that has sprung up on my index finger. Is there any way to get rid of it without going to the doctor’s or buying medication from the store?
I am pretty broke at the moment, so the cheaper the better.

Thanks!

hi all
I have many many warts on my ring finger, so I went to the doctor. Well, he said that it’s too much and will take a long time to freeze or burn off, so he gave me some wart removal acid to use at home.
I have been using it for three days, and every time I use it, my skin burns a lot!!!!!

for the past two days, my skin has turned yellow and the skin is all hard and it hurts a lot!!!
could it be an infection???

what should I do?
i talk to my parents, and they said that it’s nothing – they said the skin will all fall off in a couple of days and the warts will be gone.

i am underage, so i can’t go to the doctor myself without my parents’ permission (plus, i don’t know how to get there)

i’m concerned!! what could be the problem? If its an infection, could I lose my finger????????

thanks
