Is it supposed to be sore when using duct tape to get rid of a wart?

I have a wart on my middle finger and I’ve tried getting it frozen off but it wont work. I read about putting duct tape over it so I done that last night but after about an hour of having it on it got really sore.
Is this supposed to happen?

no! dont use duct tape! it is a myth! dont waste your time!!

You shouldn’t use duct tape to remove a wart. The best thing you can do is go to a doctor, explain that freezing it didn’t work. :]
