Is it possible to receive genital warts with out sexual activity?

Im 16 noticed a few bumps on the shaft of my penis and wondered what they could be. They are small little bumps that have no pain but I decided to do some research anyway.Now I’m really scared because it sounds like I might have genital warts but I haven’t had any sexual experiences ever. Can warts live on a surface is it possible they are not warts. I really need an answer I’m freaking out.

Dude come down there is alot of things a penis can have problems you might be experiencing Fordyce spots which is perfectly normal or just regular bumps any were hair grow there is a chance it might just be that but i think you have Fordyce spots don’t worry alot of teens get it i don’t think you have anything but if your scared it doesn’t hurt to see a doctor
First the only way to be sure if u do have genital warts is to have blood drawn at a dr’s office. And its like a 3 week wait or so… Now if u tell the dr u are a vergin he will tell u it is a possibility to get it from a serface area and then imeaditly touching and rubbing your shaft and your urithra opening. Now I will tell u those chances are very unlikly and u probb just have a rash, or some skin condition. Herpes is the #1 most commonly spread std in the us (1 in 4 sexualy active persons is infected) but I sugest if ur a vergin (including oral sex and hevy petting) its probb nothing to worries about. But go get a test to be relieved!
