Is it possible to have genital warts even before being sexually active?

I might have had them since the 4th grade or around that time. And I hadn’t had sex or anything so I don’t know what caused it, could they really be genital warts?

It is highly unlikely but..
*If your mother had genital warts when she gave birth to you, then yes, she could of given them to you through that. Warts can lay dormant for years before actually showing.
*If you sat onto a toilet seat directly after an infected person had.. it is a chance.. very unlikely, you would of had to of rubbed yourself upon it, and the infected person would of had to of done the same.

What makes you think it is genital warts? It could be thrush?
Btw;
There are hundreds of different kinds of warts, but you can’t get genital warts from hand/face warts..

Look up on google genital warts, or get a book to check if you are correctly diagnosing yourself.
Good luck!
it is possible to get genital warts with out having sex but you would have to be exposed to them. so that would include forplay. go to a dr and get it checked
