Is a very small common/seed wart on the hand transferable to the genitals?

my bf has a few really small ones on his hand (i think from biting his nails and skin so far back), but what about when he masterbates or touches me down there.. can it spread there? or is it a different strain of the virus the causes genital warts? I am so paranoid about these kind of things!

Warts are caused by the Human Papilloma Virus or HPV. There’re over 100 types of HPV and different strains cause warts on different body parts. The strain responsible for causing the wart on the hand won’t cause genital warts as strain 6 and 11 are the ones that caused genital warts. So you’re unlikely to get genital warts from the warts on your boyfriend’s hand. But please practice safe sex and use a condom. And you might want to consider getting the HPV vaccine (Gardasil) as it protects you from the type 6, 11, 16 and 18 the HPV (first two responsible for genital warts and last two linked to cervical cancer).
no, I don’t think so, I’m glad to hear you are concerned, I only wish more kids felt like you. STD’s are are a bad thing & kids nowdays should be paranoid.
