i have all the symptoms of herpes yet i have not had unprotected sex for 10months?

Over the past three weeks i have notice genital warts on the outside of my vagina. I have however not had sex for 10months which was at the time unprotected. Surely if it was from this partner i would have developed warts sooner than 10months down the line?

not necessarily. i have hpv and it took 8 months for me to get an outbreak. so yes it is very highly likely that it came from 10 months ago. got to a obgyn. they will have all the wonderful news. good luck and God bless
You can STILL get herpes even if you are using protection. There really is no protecting against herpes besides keeping a close eye on who you have sex with. You may have always have herpes and just started having breakouts now. If you currently have a partner, there’s a chance that they’ve always had it, didn’t tell you, gave it to you without showing any signs that he/she had it.
