I have some unwanted warts on the foot, and I found a treatment which freezes the wart causing it fall off in a week or two. But apparently this treatment is only for plantar warts and not common warts. Does any one know of any household (purchase able in a drugstore) treatments for common warts?

you can remove warts by surgery, freezing, laser, acid or with cream but warts can reappear again and again because warts appears when your immune system is weak! so you must build up your immune system because your body can get rid of warts by itself if your immune system will be strong! so eat more healthy food, more vitamins and more sport activities!
also you should use some herbal treatment!
in that case Wartrol is a good (probably the best) product that gets rid of warts and makes you feel more confident knowing that they wont reappear again! it says that it is designed for Genital Warts but
it does not matter because warts are warts and wartrol works by stimulating your immune system to fight the HPV virus that causes the warts. of course it is better if you use full course (5 months – if I remember correctly).
It worked and still works for me!
I do not know if any pharmacies carry Wartrol but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.wartrol.com/?aid=749165
good luck!
Warts, moles and skin tags are all very common problems that most people burn freeze or have cut off. There actually is a natural way to get rid of these bothersome problems and get rid of them permanently in just three days. Just like you I tried everything and searched everywhere for a solution to my embarrassing problem when a friend of mine told me about a website that seemed to good to be true but I checked it out and I found the answer to my prayers. I was skeptical but it had 60 day money back guarantee so I figured that I had nothing to lose. You WILL find relief here.

Here are a few solutions that will probably work for you. The first I have verified and used on the warts on my hand and it works great. I have no idea how well it would work for warts on the foot but it’s cheap and worth a shot. The second I KNOW works on the foot because my brother had a bad wart on the bottom of his foot and this took care of it.
1. Apple Cider Vinegar. Do this and it should work for you, it worked AWESOME for me. Get some Q-Tips, some apple cider vinegar, and some medical tape.
Soak one end of the Q-tip in the apple cider vinegar. Cut off the tip you soaked. Tape it directly onto the wart. I know it can be awkward because the tip is round and kinda large, but I think the little pressure it has down on the wart helps and I tried other things like makeup remover pads and they don’t work. Make sure to tape it down both ways so that there really is no air that can flow freely onto the Q-Tip and your wart. It seems to dry out really fast that way and your wart doesn’t get very soaked.
Tape it down before you go to bed and leave it on all night. Take it off in the morning. Do this for about 4 nights or maybe a little longer depending on it’s size. It only took 2-3 days for my flat, smaller warts. Once you start seeing the wart turn black or many black dots inside of it, STOP! There are many people who said that this was very painfull. If it hurts REALLY bad then you’re doing it to much. Stop and give it some time to die. If it doesn’t die then try it again maybe longer, but it SHOULD NOT HURT. Some people claimed it did, so maybe in certain situations if it won’t die without going through some pain maybe you’ll have to. I had almost no discomfort and mine died. Don’t leave it on all day either. It’s overkill and will only lead to your good tissue dying to, and make it really irritated. Also some people said they pulled out the scab after it formed. WHY? Don’t do this, just let it heal and fall off naturally. If it works right you should get an indentation into the skin, because warts go all the way under the skin where the virus is.
2. This works, but takes longer. Duct Tape. This was recommended to my brother by the doctor after EXPENSIVE creams did nothing. So he got duct tape on the wart and cleaned/replaced it three times a day. After continuing this on a regular basis for weeks the wart went away. Don’t know how it works, but it does.
