How to get rid of a wart on my thumb?

I have a wart on my thumb and i really want to get rid of it. I have tried wartner and wart oil and neither of them worked. I really don’t want to go to the doctor if i can avoid it at all so does anyone have any other suggestion?

I have a wart on my middle finger and I clipped it with my nail clipper. Sure it’s a bloody mess but a job well done nevertheless.
