I read to put duct tape on a wart to get rid of it, but I haven’t read anywhere how long to leave the duct tape on.

I don’t think that duck tape will get rid off a wart, why don’t you try a chemist instead of a DIY shop!!! lol
Tried it also and it didn’t work for me. Just go to your local drug store and get a wart remover.
what?? no that is not good –this will take forever–if u use duct tape it will literally take forever to cure or maybe not help at all…..why dont you go to a podiatrist?? he will trim it and freeze it when you come in to see him ..or he can surgically remove it .. or the doctor i work for (which is a podiatrist) recommends to use transversal patches–they are over the counter, but are behind the pharmacy counter–in other words they dont require a prescription
It does work on warts and verrucas. Change the tape every day. You may have to do it for several weeks, but the wart will go eventually. My daughter had a large verruca that took over six weeks to go but, eventually it came out without any pain and has not left any marks. Keep going with the tape it will work and is a lot cheaper than the remedies you buy at the chemists that don’t work sometimes.
Duct tape on a wart? you must be quackers.
