How long could me or my partner have Genital Warts before noticing?

I have been dating my partner for 4 years now and we have a baby together and I have never had another sexual partner but he has and I just found out I have Genital Warts does this mean he cheated or could he of had it without knowing?

Yes, a person can have it without knowing. The warts can be so tiny that they are not visible with the naked eye, but are still contagious.

Genital warts is caused by the human pappiloma virus. It is considered a STD but doesn’t mean either of you cheated. The HP virus can lie dormant for a very long time. Chances are one of you already had it and now is showing up. HP can also be spread by skin to skin contact. I suggest you go to the CDC website and ready about it. Good information. Good luck!

It all depends on how vigilant he is. If he is hygienically kind of sloppy and doesn’t pay attention to details, then it’s possible that he could have missed it or you could have had it all this time (doubtful because they usually do a thorough exam when you become pregnant). If you have oral, do you look closely at his privates? The only other option is he stepped out on you.
