HPV (the virus that causes genital warts) can be spread by sex (vaginal, oral, and anal) and by DIRECT skin to skin contact with the infected area.
Even if there are no physical warts present it is STILL possible to spread the virus (HPV). Since HPV is a virus and there is no cure for HPV the person will always have it. Most women however, are able to get rid of the virus. Their bodies can basically "fight it off". Some women will NEVER be able to get rid of the virus though, because there are no cures for viruses.
Condoms HELP prevent the spread of STDs, including HPV, but condoms are NOT 100% effective. The only thing that is 100% effective is abstinence.

don’t have sex.
Exactly, don’t have sex. The person who has genital warts can give you the virus and they may or may not get the warts. I have HPV which means I have been in contact with someone with the warts, but I have not gotten them in the 10 years I have had the HPV. I have a higher risk at getting cervical cancer.
HPV is spread through skin to skin contact. Condoms can help prevent the risk of contraction, but its still not 100%.
you cant, they have to be treated and gone, till then your a walking fungi factory
