How do you get rid of a wart, without going through a doctor?

I have a wart on my hand and i really want to get rid of it. I have never had one before so it’s not something common, but this wart doesn’t seem to go away. I have tried a lot of the treatments found at CVS or Rite aid, and none of them seems to work. So before i go to the doctor, is there anything i can do on my own to get rid of this wart?

You can put duct tape arounf the area of the wart and then after a little bit take it off.
get the over the conter meds they have them now. Just go to walmart or a local pharmacy and look for a wart remover or ask the clerk where they are. well if you used all the over the counter meds then you have to go to the doctors.
I had a wart on my finger and none of the remedies seemed to work. After a while I took a needle and dug it out. It worked, because it never came back.
well some people have told me it works by putting hail. you know that stuff thats like snow but its tiny balls of ice that can mess up your car? well those things are supposed to help idk anything else about not going to a doctor. but i would go to one if i were you.
Kits are available from the drug store. However if you want it removed forever you need to see a doctor and he or she will burn it off with liquid nitrogen or dry ice.I don’t recommend you do this yourself because it is really dangerous and could cause serious burns.
Craig is right. Duct tape works like magic. It suffocates the wart and it will eventually go away. For me it took like two weeks. All you have to do is put duct tape over it, and when it gets kinda nasty, replace it with a new piece. And if you want, you can put a band aid over the duct tape if you think it looks weird having a piece of duct tape on your hand.
