horrible looking wart on finger :( how to get rid? please help?

I was wondering whats the best solution (over the counter) to get to get rid of a wart i have on my finger.
Any recommendations which are the best in the UK?
Also how are warts caused? because I always clean my hands and very hygienic so it’s bothering me at the fact it looks horrible

Go to your Doctor.
I had a warty thing start growing on my upper lip. The doctor put a tube over it and sprayed freezing liquid down the tube.
Within a few days it started to go and after a few weeks disappeared.
Totally painless!

Get an axe n hack it off…im sure you can buy them in most DIY shops over the counter.
Not sure what product you have in the UK, but I can tell you that you have two options:
1. Salicyclic Acid (either as a pad or a paint-on ointment)
2. Cyrotherapy (you actually freeze it and break it off)
For you I would recommend the pad because you cover it with a band aid and no one can tell.
Both are available over the counter in the US
Warts are caused by a virus.

K this sounds bizarr but it actually worked!
i just picked it off and it healed over! and they’ve never been back since!
go to the pharmacy and talk to he guy ( or lady )behind the counter
ask them about something that you can get to freeze it it’s called

what causes a wart no it’s not caused by a toad
it’s caused by a virus
you might also try ( this is going to sound crazy)
putting duct tape on it it’s suppost to work

I don’t know what all they have in the UK because I’m in the US, but if they have Compound W then that is the best. Or you could just ask a pharmacist.
Wartner, it will freeze the wart, you can buy it over the counter in England.
