Does it hurt to get a needle in your foot during plantar wart surgery?
My husband is getting a plantar wart removed from his foot tomorrow, and I was wondering if getting a needle in your foot hurts. I know there are ways to freeze it off and other remedies for removing plantar warts, but he is getting it cut off. Does anyone have any experience with this, or know if that area is extra sensitive, etc. please let me know before tomorrow morning if you could since it’s tomorrow- I just love him a lot and I worry about him, thanks!

i had a lot of plantar warts cut/removed a few years ago.
yes, the needle does hurt, but only for a second.
the other thing is:the next couple days it will be painful to walk on the foot with a deep hole in it it.
my dr only did 1-2 warts at a time.
i also bought some donut shaped callus/corn bandages,so i could put this right around the "hole" where the wart was cut from.
my dr not just cut the warts out,he also cauterized the wound so it won’t bleed when i go home and walk around.
They usually spray some special liquid on the injection site before they stick the needle in. This helps numb the area and the injection is not that painful.
Feet are sensitive, but they spray numbing spray on the area before inserting the needle so the area is desensitized.
