do the wart removal kits work on moles?
I have a mole on my tummy that has literally been there since I was a baby, but now I’m pregnant and my tummy is poking out…so is the mole. It’s not MASSIVE or anything, it just bothers me and is apparent through thin shirts now. My insurance won’t cover its removal because it does not appear to be cancerous. I was wondering if one of those at-home wart removal kits (like the freeze-away things) would do the trick?

No they don’t and you should never mess with a mole! Moles always have the potential to become cancerous and you shouldn’t try to remove them. If you want it removed talk to your doctor. Some can be safely removed and others shouldn’t be. Talk to the doc!
NO! They are only for warts. Using them on moles make cause damage.
i wouldn’t try it!! a mole and a wart are two totally different things and should be addressed that way. if your insurance doesn’t cover removing it b/c it doesn’t appear to be cancerous try approaching it from a different perspective. some moles can be painful and if they are sometimes insurance will cover it that way. talk to your doctor and ask them what the best thing could be for you. more often than not they are willing to help you fight the insurance companies.
good luck!!
Like they have been saying… warts and moles are 2 different things. Really…DON"T use wart-removal-anything on a mole.
If the mole really bugs you that much, then, see a dermatologist and have it looked at there and talk with them about whether or not to remove it.
Don’t try to remove a mole with wart remover. Go to your doctor first. Ask him when you are in for a pregnancy check and find out about the cost to have it frozen off. Maybe he can tell you if the freeze-away things will work for it.
