Can you spread a wart by just touching it?

I have a really tiny wart on my underarm, and I touched it out of curiosity the other day. My mom told me to immediately wash my hands, and not touch any other part of my body until I did so because the wart could spread. Is that true?

Yes that it true
When I was a child I had a wart on my finger touched it,
And I got 4 more warts.
Try talking to your doctor they can burn or freeze it off
and it does not hurt a bit.
No, this isn’t true. Warts are caused by an immune deficiency in the body. I had warts when I was younger, and trust me, I touched them all the time and they never magically multiplied. I had one the side of my ankle, one very large one on the inside of my knee, one on the palm of my hand, and a small one on the other knee. They were able to freeze them off. I haven’t had any since.
yes you can and every time its spreads its bigger so dont touch it as it spreads like nothing the things is a pest i know but your mum is right thought
Yes it happened 2 me!!!
