The more detailed question is: Can you get genital warts if neither you nor your partner have genital warts or HPV? By touching or oral sex, not through intercourse and both people have never had another sex parter. Because it has to start somewhere, right?

genital wart’s can be transmitted by skin to skin & Sexual intercourse.
if you and the person you’re with doesn’t have it then you likely will not get it
UNLESS one of you fool around with someone that has it. (not saying you or you’re partner will)
if you’re concerned about getting it, get the vaccine. it protects against the 4most common types that cause warts/cervical cancer
it cost 400dollars but health departments and Clinics(plannedparenthood) can give them for free. i know im getting mine in 6months(even though i have 2 of the 4 types that cause warts/cervical cancer)
