Warts Causes, Symptoms, Treatment & Removal
The actual subtypes that cause cervical cancer (13 different types that cause cancer out of 100 types of HPV overall – but 4 of the types cause the majority of the cancer) do NOT cause the external genital warts.
You can, however, get many types at the same time – and have some cause some cervical changes and LATER warts pop up because the other types of the virus are showing.
Hope this helps!
Yup, HPV type 6 and 11 cause warts while 16 and 18 cause the cancer. It is a STD.
yes you can get it through sexual contact and not everyone has symptoms or gets cancer. It is important if you do have HPV that you get checked regularly (every 6 mos. or so).
