Worry Wart…?

I’m such a worry wart. I get so depressed sometimes because of the stupidest things. I constantly worry about what kind of silent diseases and sicknesses I could have. When we study certain diseases in school, some of the few symptoms for me are fimiliar (or at least my crazy mind says they are) and I automatically diagnose myself. I get scared to death of the results of the illnesses I diagnose myself with, and that’s how I get depressed. I can tell you one thing, that going to the doctor everytime I get paranoid isn’t cheap- and I don’t want to do that. I have a good life, and don’t want to be put on drugs because I’m so down. My mom says I’m crazy because I always feel this way, but how can I not? So, if any of the Yahoo! Answers experts would like to make me feel any better about my obsessive problem, that would be great.

How can I best remove a wart from my finger?

The wart is on the left hand side of my index finger right where the nail meets the skin at the cuticle… and it is not responding well to Bazuka (salicyclic acid)

My friend got genital warts and she was with a man for going on 5 yrs, she is only sexually active with him and she fears that he may have cheated on her and gave her genital warts. How often do males give females genital warts? What about the average timespan it shows in woman after the man has been infected? Should she suspect her partner? Should she worry about cancer?

Would it be rude or Stupid to ask my surgeon who is about to perform an Ileocecectomy in Feb to also remove a plantar wart on the ball of my foot? I am scheduled to see a Dermatologist but would rather recover from both at the same time?

Would his office laugh at me and run me off? I just met him yesterday and he is a specialist in General Surgery with a very good reputation.

St. John´s wart and birth control?

Will St. John´s wart cause the pill not to work.

I have a wart on the tip of my index finger that has been in that exact spot before. It seems that every time it comes back it hangs around a little longer. I tried using wart remover from walmart but ran out of it before the thing was completely gone. The insurance with my company just kicked in for me but I don’t know what kind of doctor to call. medical? durmatologist? hand/foot?

Did you know that most of us have genital warts?

Seriously, I learned that in my human sexuality course. Three in four people have the virus. Men don’t normally grow the warts, so they just keep passing it around. I also learned that the new widely believed theory is that the virus goes away after about 18 months – it doesn’t stay dormant in your body and ready to flare up again forever. However, some still say that it sticks around. Either way, ladies, this is why we need to all have regular paps. Genital Warts can lead to PID and cervical cancer. And if you’re not a virgin- most of us have had them, even if we don’t know it.
